Geelong Gallery:  After Hours Event

How very lucky was I to be commissioned to create a Beautiful Backdrop, some mini vases and giant freestanding blooms for the Geelong Gallery After Hours Discovering the Impressionist Exhibition.   The After Hours was the ultimate experience with a DJ, bar and an abundance of atmosphere. 

Using Monet's Peonies as color inspiration, I created a 2 x 2 metre flower creation made of crepe paper. Each bloom, hand cut and endless strips.   The texture and colors came together beutifully and can be found in the foyer if you want a sneaky look. 

The exhibition is amazing so head on down to see Monet and more, while your there you'll see my big bloom backdrop named Camille.  ​
